letter 18: hold on, it gets better
hi beautiful being,
how are you? apparently mercury is no longer in retrograde and the month of October is looking abundant so YAY!
from my vantage point, it seems like a lot of us have been in a process of re-evaluating and reconstructing the way we want to live. sometimes, the knowingness that we can do better, achieve bigger goals, and take up more space is simultaneously mobilizing and petrifying. on one hand, visualizing a more aligned life where you are harmoniously self-actualizing is dreamy, on the other hand, there’s an acute awareness that your present world has to fall apart and that’s scary af.
as someone who took the biggest leap of faith of her life just 4 weeks ago, I want to encourage you to go after whatever it is you’ve been ruminating over, regardless of how absolutely terrified you might be. it will likely start off a bit rocky and turbulent, but I promise, it gets better.
now that i’m on the other side of a distressing/chaotic season of life I can confidently say that nothing quite compares to the feeling of knowing that you love yourself enough to do something your soul longs for, despite not being clear on how exactly it’ll unfold. more than ever, i’m a firm believer that the universe rewards boldness and courage. if we have the audacity to dream big, remain tenacious, and prove to ourselves that we’re worth it, in the most unexpected ways beautiful manifestations will take form.
please don’t give up.
just fucking go for it.
be a good person.
drink a lot of water.
wishing you wellness,
